If you are like me, a creative mind looking for the next perfect image to make your blog posts look professional and beautiful then you have just found the perfect article. I have compiled a list of 5 amazing and free websites to find royalty free images for commercial use and the best part is: a few of them don’t require attribution! Enjoy!
Unsplash is one of my favourite websites to find free images for commercial use. Not only their catalogue is impressive but also the images are high quality and released under Unsplash Licence. The beauty of their licence is that enables users to: download the images for free, for commercial and non-commercial purposes plus no attribution is required.
One of the best features of Unsplash is the ability to filter by colour or orientation when searching for images. It is such a pleasure to navigate their catalogue as you can find pretty much anything you look for from food-related images to feminine bohemian, corporate, nature and so on. I strongly recommend bookmarking the website as you won’t be disappointed.
Pexels is the second on my list when looking for images. Like Unsplash, they also have a big catalogue, and images can be used for commercial purposes for free too. I find Pexels particularly useful to find pictures like portraits. The search filters not only include orientation and colour but also size. Pexels also has a beautiful collection of royalty-free videos, which is something really exciting as videos can be really expensive.
Pixabay it’s been around for a while and is well known for its free images and videos. With more than 1 million images to choose from, you won’t be disappointed with the options you will find. Although is not my first choice when browsing for beautiful feminine images, there are plenty of hidden gems in the catalogue. You can also find vector files in Pixabay, however, the number of options is limited.
Rawpixel is a bit of a hidden gem. The first time I found Rawpixel website I was amazed, to say the least. Although the catalogue is not particularly large, it has a lot of very interesting options to choose from. Not only you can find images but also illustrations, vectors and PSD mockups for free. Unlike the websites already mentioned above, Rawpixel also offers a Premium membership for commercial use to access all of their files for $9 USD per month which is not too bad when considering all the amazing files you can download.
However if what you are looking for are free options only, they have a section with all the free files you can download including a variety of files. Rawpixel also has an incredible collection of Public Domain pictures including lots of vintage images. I absolutely love Rawpixel.
Styledstock is perfect for the blogger and influencer looking for a feminine touch. Although their collection is not as comprehensive as the options mentioned above, it is still worth mentioning as a “niche” free image site. Have a look at their website as I think you’re going to like it.
